The Cub Scout colors are blue and gold. They have special meaning,
which will help boys see beyond the fun of Cub Scouting to its
ultimate goals.
The blue stands for truth and spirituality, steadfast loyalty,
and the sky above.
The gold stands for warm sunlight, good cheer, and happiness.

Pack 1353 is a quality unit of the National Capital Area Council, Occoquan
District and we are chartered by Lake Ridge Baptist Church. We are
committed to the boys and we strive to continue the scouting
tradition of creating fun and educational activities designed to
help teach them how to make good decisions throughout their lives
and give them confidence as they become the adult leaders of tomorrow.
Of course, Scouting operates through volunteer leadership. Volunteer
unit leaders are an example of Scouting's principle of service to
others. Naturally, parents are a primary source of leaders in the
Scouting program. You volunteer not only to serve Scouting but also
to serve your Scout and his friends and to have a chance to be a
positive influence on youth in your community. Being a Leader is
fun, challenging, and rewarding.
Remember, volunteers are an integral part of this organization.
Without the help of volunteers, the Cub scouts could not exist! So,
please join us and have some fun while making a difference in young
lives. Your son may forget to do his homework, or where he put his
favorite toy, but he will never forget that you were there with him
during Scouts!
If you're interested in Volunteering to help the Pack go, please go
to the
Applications
page. There you can print the form and contact me so I can arrange
to pick it up.
