The Cub Scout colors are blue and gold. They have special meaning,
which will help boys see beyond the fun of Cub Scouting to its
ultimate goals.
The blue stands for truth and spirituality, steadfast loyalty,
and the sky above.
The gold stands for warm sunlight, good cheer, and happiness.

**Something to remember:**
Cub Scouting is for Families, not just the boys. Family involvement
is an ESSENTIAL part of cub scouting. Cub scouting provides
opportunities for families to work and play together, to have fun
together, and to get to know each other a little better. When we
speak of parents or families, we are referring to whomever a boy
calls his family. The family is always welcome and encouraged to
attend any or all the cub scout functions. Without the family
involvement the scout is not receiving the full benefit of the
scouting program.
