The Cub Scout colors are blue and gold. They have special meaning, which will help boys see beyond the fun of Cub Scouting to its ultimate goals.

The blue stands for truth and spirituality, steadfast loyalty, and the sky above.

The gold stands for warm sunlight, good cheer, and happiness.

Pack Hike at Prince William Forest Park

Saturday, October 8, 2011, 10:00 am

This coming Saturday, October 8th, Pack 1353 will be going on a hike. This will be an easy hike and should be a lot of fun.

In the case of inclement weather (we will not be hiking in the rain) I will send out an e-mail canceling the hike by Friday evening.

This hike is for the entire family and will be a great recruiting event if you have any friends that are thinking of Scouting.

The hike will be at Prince William Forest Park and will take about one hour.

We will be making trail mix prior to the hike at 10:00 AM and plan on hitting the trail head at 10:30.

Rockledge BMX Bike Rodeo

Saturday, October 15 2011, 2:00 pm

On Saturday, October 15th, the Rockledge PTA is sponsoring the third BMX Bike Rodeo at the NOVA BMX Track at Pfizner Stadium.

Appropriate sized Bike and Helmet Required
Helmets will be for sale $8.50
Anyone riding the track should wear long pants and long sleeved shirt.
Safety inspection station, Cub Scout Belt Loop and Concessions available
All ages and bike abilities welcome, hope to see all our ROCKLEDGE families there!
